Trifon Ivanov was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United FC's players had a chance to rest. Manchester United FC's Dieguinho Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 34th minute of play. Trifon Ivanov kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Laurențiu Pora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dieguinho Paraíba having to make a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Junior Shevchenko made a kick off. Johny Konings made in the 55th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Johny Konings immediately put the ball in play. Hayalim Kedoshim's Gelu Chirilă was substituted for Laurențiu Pora. Gelu Chirilă scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dieguinho Paraíba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
