After 14 played minutes, US Albenga's Beniamin Bara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Júlio Varela came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in US Albenga reached it. Alex Pacella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Vettel, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Alex Pacella was a little too slow when Arif Memduh Özkutay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Fausto da Cunha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaves do 8 FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Arif Memduh Özkutay came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chaves do 8 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Memduh Özkutay couldn't finish the play. 29 minutes into the game, Chaves do 8 FC's Sebastian Vettel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alex Pacella made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Alex Pacella was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Fausto da Cunha capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fausto da Cunha really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arif Memduh Özkutay in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Pacella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaves do 8 FC's goalkeeper Júlio Varela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Vitomir Piralkov came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the US Albenga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitomir Piralkov couldn't finish the play. US Albenga's Dennis Padula was substituted for Aldo Renzetti. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of US Albenga:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chaves do 8 FC:s goal. US Albenga:s Alex Pacella showed great skill when he stopped Arif Memduh Özkutay:s penalty.

The wind increased when Arif Memduh Özkutay made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, US Albenga's Bernardo Scrima got a free kick in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto da Cunha in the 56th minute of play forced US Albenga's goalkeeper Alex Pacella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Júlio Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dennis Padula in the 59th minute. When Arif Memduh Özkutay came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Chaves do 8 FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Memduh Özkutay couldn't finish the play. Alex Pacella came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Chaves do 8 FC's Arif Memduh Özkutay. But to his dismay, Arif Memduh Özkutay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Eliézer Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. US Albenga's Alex Pacella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Negri in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Negri in the 75th minute of play forced US Albenga's goalkeeper Alex Pacella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermanno Cavallaro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Christian Antonangeli hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind US Albenga's goalkeeper Alex Pacella, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Arif Memduh Özkutay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Pacella was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Percival Goiano fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chaves do 8 FC's protests and gave Percival Goiano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of US Albenga booed when Chaves do 8 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percival Goiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Elia Di Dio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chaves do 8 FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
