When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Omurtag Púrvulov sped through Manchester United F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lyubcho Karadachki. Parvan Dakelov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Slavey Dochevski made a huge save. 21 minutes into the match, Blue avalanche's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Debruyne came free, but Slavey Dochevski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes Blue avalanche's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iordache Luca who took care of the corner kick. Manchester United F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manchester United F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
