In the 30th minute, Independente FC's Gilberto Gonçalves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kajetan Kossakowski. Kajetan Kossakowski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. With 34 minutes on the clock, Diego Martins commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 33rd minute, one of Independente FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Independente FC. Gustaw Nuszkowski hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Ezequiel Barral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-0 in the 40th playminute. Fabian Zielinski's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Zielinski helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Zielinski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Kajetan Kossakowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ezequiel Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Benedito Trancoso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kajetan Kossakowski. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Trancoso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Nestor Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawid Zacharek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateusz Polakowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Quintal. Independente FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Rodrigues in the 76th minute of play. Kajetan Kossakowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from José Vítor Rodrigues went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Newcastle United's Kajetan Kossakowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Barral in the 89th minute of play. Ezequiel Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kajetan Kossakowski having to interfere. Independente FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
