Tibor Barmoš scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stefan Söder, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Tibor Barmoš came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the AFK Petržalka fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibor Barmoš couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Tibor Barmoš reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stefan Söder. The goal made the score 2-0. The supporters of AFK Petržalka booed when Westra Aros SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Stor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rune Källberg came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Westra Aros SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rune Källberg couldn't finish the play. Stefan Söder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibor Barmoš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Söder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Barmoš in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner. Ivan Kaľavský went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led AFK Petržalka's Ivan Kaľavský to fire away a dangerous shot which Stefan Söder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 58 minutes, Bohdan Jedlík mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AFK Petržalka and the Westra Aros SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score was 2-1 after a penalty in the 60th minute, where Westra Aros SK:s Arvin Askelöf tricked AFK Petržalka:s Ivan Adamčík with a difficult ball by the left post. Stefan Söder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miroslav Brezník, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Stefan Söder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tibor Barmoš's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 73rd minute, Miroslav Brezník hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Tibor Barmoš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Söder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
