In the 45th match minute, PIRATAS TFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Pires to maneuver through the defense. La Gallardeta's Kjell Alsvik got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Alsvik was the one to do the kick off. La Gallardeta's attentive Rigoberto Abarca managed to snatch the ball when Gilberto Simão made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game.
