In the 14th minute Oliver Gallberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tuncay Özsahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argyris Lagonidis in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Yunus Uçanok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee showed Jimmie Stephansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Puskas United got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Stephansson.

Puskas United's Nestor Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Temel Sarısaltuk in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Puskas United booed when Eflani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Refik Kılıçer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Oliver Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puskas United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Gallberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tuncay Özsahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Stephansson in the 58th minute of play. Nestor Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Temel Sarısaltuk sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Olof Dalgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tuncay Özsahin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After 90 played minutes Eflani got a freekick which was hit by Giray İspirli. Tuncay Özsahin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Stephansson in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eflani's Argyris Lagonidis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestor Iratxo. That made the score 0-1 after 93 minutes of play. Eflani's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
