S.C.CHUÍ's Carlos Gamarra managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Lisandro Martínez in the 13 minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Tebaldo came free, but Armando Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Tebaldo in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Cerezo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeronimo Cresconio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joris Scheer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Jeronimo Cresconio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Patrício in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to MILAN COLOMBIANO getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Baldomiro Beat hit a great ball. Jeronimo Cresconio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardinho Abreu in the 36th minute of the match. Arnaldo Ortega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Armando Cerezo made a huge save. Augusto Tebaldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, S.C.CHUÍ's Bernardinho Abreu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeronimo Cresconio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bernardinho Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Jeronimo Cresconio made a huge save. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind S.C.CHUÍ's goalkeeper Armando Cerezo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Tebaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Jeronimo Cresconio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save MILAN COLOMBIANO from getting a goal against them. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when MILAN COLOMBIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, S.C.CHUÍ's Jeronimo Cresconio threw himself towards the right post 64 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joris Scheer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 69th minute Joris Scheer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Cresconio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Victoriano Chano was substituted for Alfons Wennerlund. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Cândido Petri replaced Augusto Tebaldo. The supporters of S.C.CHUÍ booed when MILAN COLOMBIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Beat didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, MILAN COLOMBIANO's Lisandro Martínez got a free kick in the 94th minute. Cândido Petri took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armando Cerezo. Armando Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. S.C.CHUÍ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
