A sloppy throw-in by Omar Orlanda in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Ricart Futebol Clube's Geovânio Gerber. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ricart Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's Abel Ramalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Zhan Sang narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
