In the 37thth minute of the game Türkeş Akşit who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Ricart Futebol Clube got a corner. Andırın SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doron Bantz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ricart Futebol Clube's Doron Bantz to fire away a dangerous shot which Zhu Ao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Türkeş Akşit to make the kick off.
