But to his dismay, Baltazar Clavijo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Kanaryalar booed when Borussia Dortmund was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Fernando Grover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Ruisko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Grover, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Adolfo Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fatih-Sultan Mehmet went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
