The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Tomas Levander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Elder Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Mário Sérgio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Levander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Borussia Dortmund fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Borussia Dortmund's Fernando Grover looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 17 minutes into the game, Tomas Levander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Elder Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomas Levander scored 0-4 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elder Ramalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grêmio RK75's Elder Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Levander in the 26th minute of play. Fernando Grover struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Elder Ramalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Dortmund. In the 33rd minute, Fernando Grover ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elder Ramalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 40 minutes into the match, Grêmio RK75's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Grover came free, but Elder Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martín Braithwaite stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Elder Ramalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltazar Clavijo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Elder Ramalho was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Tomas Levander capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Levander really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. In the 63rd minute Martín Braithwaite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Zhan Sang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Fatih-Sultan Mehmet notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Grêmio RK75's Elder Ramalho. Elder Ramalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Grêmio RK75's Elder Ramalho got control of the ball when Fernando Grover tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-12 in the 72nd playminute. João Augusto Senna hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th match minute, Grêmio RK75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Augusto Senna to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's Yakup Sargut broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Clavijo in the 80th minute of play forced Grêmio RK75's goalkeeper Elder Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Fernando Grover kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elder Ramalho. That made the score 0-13 in the 83 minute of play. Elder Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandez Quintairos in the 90th minute of play. Fatih-Sultan Mehmet had several of the Grêmio RK75's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-15 score and a disappointed Elder Ramalho as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 94 played minutes Grêmio RK75 got a freekick which was hit by Mário Sérgio. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Yakup Sargut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Dortmund's supporters rose to their feet, but Yakup Sargut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elder Ramalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
