Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) BOTAFOGO's Adalberto Breckenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 2nd minute of the match, managed to save BOTAFOGO from getting a goal against them. Adalberto Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Hanselmann in the 4th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Sebastian Allgäuer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liechtenstein's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Allgäuer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patrick Hanselmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Adalberto Breckenfeld tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrick Hanselmann in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adalberto Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrick Hanselmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Breckenfeld having to interfere. The supporters of Liechtenstein booed when BOTAFOGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilmar Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Breckenfeld acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sebastian Allgäuer. After some careless play in the Liechtenstein defense, Nilmar Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacob Josef Zurflüh. The Liechtenstein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacob Josef Zurflüh should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Patrick Hanselmann put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Adalberto Breckenfeld. Adalberto Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Hanselmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toninho Madureira in the 36th minute of play forced Liechtenstein's goalkeeper Jacob Josef Zurflüh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob Josef Zurflüh came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira. But to his dismay, Toninho Madureira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A hard shot 39 in the game by Patrick Hanselmann from a close distance when the talented Adalberto Breckenfeld managed to make a qualified save. BOTAFOGO's players were relieved. Sebastian Allgäuer might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Allgäuer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute Patrick Hanselmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Hanselmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adalberto Breckenfeld. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrick Hanselmann ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 minutes of play, BOTAFOGO's Toninho Madureira made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacob Josef Zurflüh was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 47th minute, Toninho Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Jacob Josef Zurflüh. Liechtenstein's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Patrick Hanselmann to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Dominik Klaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Dominik Klaus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adalberto Breckenfeld. BOTAFOGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dominik Klaus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 55th minute, Jaanek Oese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Klaus in the 56th minute of the match. Jacob Josef Zurflüh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Madureira in the 58th minute of the match. When Liechtenstein's Patrick Hanselmann in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BOTAFOGO's goalie prevented a goal. After 63 played minutes Liechtenstein got a freekick which was hit by Ben Kolbe. In the 67th minute, Kauan Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Konstantin Hofmeister received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Hanselmann in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adalberto Breckenfeld saved BOTAFOGO from getting behind. Liechtenstein's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sebastian Allgäuer in the 78th minute. The corner led to Liechtenstein's Samuel Keller getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Adalberto Breckenfeld showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Hanselmann in the 80th minute of the match. If Patrick Hanselmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Patrick Hanselmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adalberto Breckenfeld read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th match minute, Liechtenstein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philipp Beck to maneuver through the defense. Adalberto Breckenfeld stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrick Hanselmann's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Samuel Keller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patrick Hanselmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Patrick Hanselmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 98 minutes, Patrick Hanselmann put it in 3-4 from a short distance just to the right of Adalberto Breckenfeld. BOTAFOGO's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
