With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktoras Mavrakis in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu De Sousa saved Milfontes United from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Aimilios Kassapis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timos Karagiorgos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Montenegro in the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Mavrakis came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Milfontes United were awarded a corner. Luís Travassos went to the cornerflag to take it. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Milfontes United from getting a goal against them. In the 21stth minute of the game Felix Baicu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AEK Lamia club's Timos Karagiorgos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeu De Sousa made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Manolis Karaiskakis sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Viktoras Mavrakis came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Milfontes United from getting a goal against them. Milfontes United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Viktoras Mavrakis scored to the left of an out of position Romeu De Sousa, making the score, 2-0. After 37 played minutes Milfontes United got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Raposo. The audience was convinced that Felix Baicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timos Karagiorgos was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Baicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Aloísio Raposo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milfontes United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AEK Lamia club the free kick. Timos Karagiorgos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Baicu, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Manolis Karaiskakis came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu De Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 76 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's Cláudio Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timos Karagiorgos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manolis Karaiskakis in the 77th minute of play forced Milfontes United's goalkeeper Romeu De Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Felix Baicu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milfontes United's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Baicu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timos Karagiorgos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 84th minute of the match Aloísio Raposo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aloísio Raposo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Milfontes United's Aloísio Raposo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cláudio Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Raul Viana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timos Karagiorgos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Travassos got free with Timos Karagiorgos in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milfontes United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
