Brothers of Mercy's Ni Jun Sha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Brothers of Mercy from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Alex Axelsson replaced Roger Strömberg. In the 55th match minute, LKS Wisła Szczucin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Zapolski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilbert Pusiak in the 59th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brothers of Mercy's Christer Valler got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
