With his leg Yıldırım Yaman managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 30 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Uğurcan Oğuzalp. Yıldırım Yaman made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Jan-Erik Tunberg sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Erik Tunberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yıldırım Yaman came out and tried to block the shot, but Jan-Erik Tunberg slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Evren Tanfer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Gigio Buffon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan-Erik Tunberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 60th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Tunberg came free, but Yıldırım Yaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polly Magoo Juniors's Gigio Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Polly Magoo Juniors's zone, Tuncer İribaş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gigio Buffon came out of the goal and Tuncer İribaş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jan-Erik Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Yıldırım Yaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Jan-Erik Tunberg made a precise shot to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. 76 minutes into the match, Jan-Erik Tunberg notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman. Yıldırım Yaman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yıldırım Yaman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cem Adrian in the 79th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Cem Adrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Galip Cihansah got a free kick in the 84th minute. Yıldırım Yaman came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Polly Magoo Juniors's Alexander Olofsson. But to his dismay, Alexander Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-1. Jan-Erik Tunberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yıldırım Yaman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Erik Tunberg ran back to his position shaking his head.
