In the 4th match minute, BK Tåfjutt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Ålberg to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Fenerbahçe's Oğuzalp Ak to fire away a dangerous shot which Eric Olofsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fenerbahçe's Yıldırım Yaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Eriksson in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğurcan Oğuzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Soned in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yıldırım Yaman saved Fenerbahçe from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Binali Hicabi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Tåfjutt the free kick. In the 13th minute, Binali Hicabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Uğurcan Oğuzalp hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Olof Soned made a precise shot to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Olof Soned left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BK Tåfjutt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 25th minute, Aras Daman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olof Soned in the 27th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Yıldırım Yaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tuncer İribaş got free with Eric Olofsson in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gazi Seralp hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

BK Tåfjutt made a substitution. Nicklas Qvarnström replaced Rickard Julin. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tuncer İribaş was the one to do the kick off. Lukas Melander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Fenerbahçe's zone, Lukas Melander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yıldırım Yaman came out of the goal and Lukas Melander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuncer İribaş to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Lukas Melander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yıldırım Yaman. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lukas Melander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. When Galip Cihansah was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 98 minutes had been played.
