The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Evaristo Sasoin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Marcial Montrell kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgar Smuskiewicz. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. Marcial Montrell came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgar Smuskiewicz could save by the left post. Franz Kühne came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Hahay's Edgar Bartoszek. But to his dismay, Edgar Bartoszek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hawk Tuah FC's Franz Kühne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Bartoszek in the 21st minute of play. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Sasoin in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hawk Tuah FC's Big Dickey got a free kick in the 24th minute. Edgar Smuskiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Big Dickey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franz Kühne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Zakrzewski in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Klint in the 43rd minute of play forced Hahay's goalkeeper Edgar Smuskiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Hahay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Bartoszek to maneuver through the defense. Kennet Björklund kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes, Hahay's Gilbert Zajac shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franz Kühne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hahay reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Big Dickey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edgar Bartoszek hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Franz Kühne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marek Kaider went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylwester Golaszewski in the 62nd minute of play forced Hawk Tuah FC's goalkeeper Franz Kühne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hahay made a substitution. Sebastian Banaszak replaced Gilbert Zajac. In the 66th minute of the match Hahay got a corner. Hawk Tuah FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastian Fleischer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sebastian Fleischer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hawk Tuah FC's Franz Kühne did a great save. 72 minutes into the game, Sylwester Golaszewski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Franz Kühne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sylwester Golaszewski scored 3-5 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Kühne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 87 minutes into the match, Marcial Montrell notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz. Edgar Smuskiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute Big Dickey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Hahay's Sylwester Golaszewski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-6. 96 minutes into the game, Sylwester Golaszewski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franz Kühne. Sylwester Golaszewski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-7. The Hahay supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hahay would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
