Xavier Pestana did an outstanding performance 41 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-1 to the right of an irritated Turgut Talha in the goal. After 46 played minutes Fear Of The Dark got a freekick which was hit by Tim-Florian Kownatzki. After the first half Fear Of The Dark were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turgut Talha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Vacid Nefer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Vacid Nefer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Club Deportivo Español's Turgut Talha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Español from getting a goal against them. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Turgut Talha. Okanalp Çağman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 96th minute of play.
