In the 6th minute, one of Hillhead FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hillhead FC. The referee gave Vidingsjö MOIF a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Folke Carlsson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Ali Gopala Pillai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Kinic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tan Chien-Kwan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamir Amin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 26th minute, Tan Chien-Kwan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamir Amin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Staffan Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. The supporters of Vidingsjö MOIF booed when Hillhead FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamir Amin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Staffan Josefsson in the 35th minute of play. Igor Kinic made an important save on a dangerous shot by Firdauz Ee in the 36th minute. Igor Kinic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Firdauz Ee in the 38th minute of the match. A collision led to Hillhead FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. SK Lim hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staffan Josefsson in the 44th minute of play forced Hillhead FC's goalkeeper Hamir Amin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Staffan Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamir Amin having to interfere.

In the 57th minute Tan Chien-Kwan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Kinic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Folke Carlsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Hamir Amin to make any attempt to save it. Folke Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Hamir Amin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vidingsjö MOIF. Hamir Amin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Josefsson in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Vidingsjö MOIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiktor Klucznik to maneuver through the defense. Vidingsjö MOIF made a substitution. Tomas Hedström replaced Jan-Olof Kleen. Igor Kinic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Firdauz Ee in the 78th minute of play. Tan Chien-Kwan's late challenge caught a Vidingsjö MOIF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tan Chien-Kwan helped the player get up and apologised. After 79 played minutes Hillhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Tan Chien-Kwan. Hillhead FC's Hamir Amin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Folke Carlsson in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Vidingsjö MOIF's goalkeeper Igor Kinic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hillhead FC booed when Vidingsjö MOIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rayan Boisset didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vidingsjö MOIF's Jörgen Blom was substituted for Marcus Granqvist. In the 87th minute, Vidingsjö MOIF's Staffan Josefsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hamir Amin. Hamir Amin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4.

Vidingsjö MOIF were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Hillhead FC's much stronger midfield.
