Kauan de Senna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 方皓洲 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the game, Kauan de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. 方皓洲 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 郭义辉 hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Kauan de Senna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 方皓洲 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. In the 30th minute, 柯云城 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan de Senna in the 32nd minute of play forced KV Mechelen's goalkeeper 方皓洲 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 方皓洲 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauan de Senna went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 方皓洲 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by 尹川翀 in the 42nd minute of play forced Scylla G.C.E's goalkeeper Cirilo Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Scylla G.C.E fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Scylla G.C.E's Kauan de Senna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 70 minutes into the match, Scylla G.C.E's goal looked a bit too open when 莫霆真 came free, but Cirilo Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan de Senna took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 方皓洲. 方皓洲 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-10. In the 76thth minute of the game Kauan de Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KV Mechelen's 方皓洲 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the game, 郭义辉 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Mechelen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scylla G.C.E the free kick. After a rather tough play, KV Mechelen's 郭义辉 got a free kick in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the KV Mechelen defense, Kauan de Senna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 方皓洲. The KV Mechelen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 方皓洲 should have stopped the shot. Scylla G.C.E's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
