Adalberto Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Spartacus FC defense, Eulalio Elequemedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto Barral. The Spartacus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Barral should have stopped the shot. Niceto Izel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Niceto Izel was the one to do the kick off. Adalberto Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of FC Tó Madeira booed when Spartacus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Ábrahám didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the game, FC Tó Madeira's Eulalio Elequemedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adalberto Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eulalio Elequemedo got free with Adalberto Barral in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmílson Cearense in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Dionísio saved FC Tó Madeira from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Spartacus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Izel came free, but Adalberto Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Adalberto Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Spartacus FC's Adalberto Barral got control of the ball when Eulalio Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
