In the 23rd minute of the match Moscovi Ψ got a corner. SV Balverliefd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabrizio Angileri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Moscovi Ψ's Kiliz Mauleon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Homan in the 27th minute of play. Yorrick Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Moscovi Ψ were awarded a corner. Fabrizio Angileri went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Eustacio Ortzi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Moscovi Ψ made a substitution. Marco Oinatz replaced Patricio Bamford. Moscovi Ψ's Betão Duarte managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jimmy Stenberg in the 56 minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Moscovi Ψ's corner Paolo-César Maldini fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yorrick Zoethout quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Paolo-César Maldini had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yorrick Zoethout. SV Balverliefd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paolo-César Maldini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0.
