But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calvin Townsley couldn't finish the play. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Ampthill FC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calvin Townsley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruslan Rúklyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Ning Ning came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Denimir Tzonkov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN BAKITO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Ning Ning in the 33rd minute of play. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denimir Tzonkov in the 36th minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Denimir Tzonkov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ampthill FC's Bernardo Abeijon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denimir Tzonkov to strike the kick off in the second half. VN BAKITO's attentive Yani Dandolov managed to snatch the ball when Fitz Pickard made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. 58 minutes into the game, Calvin Townsley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ruslan Rúklyov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerasim Berberov in the 69th minute of the match. Bernardo Abeijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhu Ning Ning in the 72nd minute of play. After 75 minutes of play, VN BAKITO's Zhu Ning Ning made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Denimir Tzonkov came free, but Bernardo Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Calvin Townsley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruslan Rúklyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Blagoy Banovski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruslan Rúklyov made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Calvin Townsley sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusi Plochev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute of the match Yani Dandolov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Abeijon skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusi Plochev in the 91st minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Abeijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rusi Plochev in the 93rd minute of the match. Calvin Townsley struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ruslan Rúklyov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ampthill FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VN BAKITO.
