Olgierd Kowalski succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. BYDGOSTIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Patryk Zgonina in the 11th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Olgierd Kowalski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Olgierd Kowalski really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. In the 19th minute, Olgierd Kowalski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The BYDGOSTIA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 36th minute BYDGOSTIA were awarded a corner. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olgierd Kowalski made a kick off. The supporters of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia booed when BYDGOSTIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mariusz Warka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olgierd Kowalski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute of the game Hector Grabiel made a throw-in which Petrică Cândreanu played forward. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Galagan to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute of the match Patryk Zgonina sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Txindoki skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kowalski in the 65th minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Olgierd Kowalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Txindoki was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicklas Lindström in the 83rd minute of play forced FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute, BYDGOSTIA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Orçun Yalınalp fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. BYDGOSTIA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
