In the 20th match minute, Grêmio FBPA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ≮王者归来≯潇洒人间一剑仙's Holger Täman got control of the ball when Pipis Karapatakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grêmio FBPA's zone, 唐奕景 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Sanches came out of the goal and 唐奕景 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jardel Sanches was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jardel Sanches showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 袁崇风 in the 35th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when 袁崇风 made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Darío Pereyra. Grêmio FBPA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anacleto Oier ran over to the corner to take the kick.
