The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Bonet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slavcho Kanov having to make a save. Slavcho Kanov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Bonet went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th minute, Daniel Skulstad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, Daustad's Luis Bonet made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slavcho Kanov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Legia Stavanger were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Daustad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gjermund Viste took the corner. The corner led Legia Stavanger's Humberto Passos to a score. 1-2 in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jo Øverås made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orest Bredun in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Legia Stavanger was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orest Bredun to maneuver through the defense. Alfred Klawki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Jo Øverås skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ashraf Hakimi took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slavcho Kanov. Slavcho Kanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The supporters of Legia Stavanger booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Bonet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ashraf Hakimi. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Daniel Skulstad hit a great ball. Luis Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Bonet in the 60th minute of the match. Jo Øverås showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Domingues in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Casimiro Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jo Øverås saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Peng Song Ting got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slavcho Kanov made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Luis Bonet sent off a good shot on target. Daustad's Luis Bonet got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Casimiro Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Legia Stavanger made a substitution. Abelardo Alonso replaced Deivid Capixaba. Casimiro Domingues hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Peng Song Ting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Skulstad was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. Daustad's Peng Song Ting couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 75th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Legia Stavanger. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Are Rygg in the 78th minute of the match. Peng Song Ting fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Slavcho Kanov having to interfere. With a little luck, Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov got control of the ball when Ashraf Hakimi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daustad's Luis Bonet got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Bonet in the 88th minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slavcho Kanov stood somewhat misplaced when Luis Bonet came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Bonet, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Legia Stavanger getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Javier Turi hit a great ball. Slavcho Kanov came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Luis Bonet. But to his dismay, Luis Bonet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5.
