The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Saul Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Turi in the 16th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marteinn Palermo in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Slavcho Kanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Legia Stavanger's Alfred Klawki in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Unión Florida's goalie prevented a goal. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Musko, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Orest Bredun kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Slavcho Kanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marteinn Palermo in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Atlético Unión Florida got a corner. Legia Stavanger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Saverio Atarratze ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Saverio Atarratze got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Slavcho Kanov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, Atlético Unión Florida's goal looked a bit too open when Orest Bredun came free, but Saul Erauso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victoriano Edwardo made a great header on Atlético Unión Florida's corner, it was just that Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov managed to reach the ball for a save. After 43 played minutes Atlético Unión Florida got a freekick which was hit by Krystian Żmuda. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Javier Turi made a kick off. In the 50th minute Marteinn Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute Atlético Unión Florida were awarded a corner. Saverio Atarratze went to the cornerflag to take it. Marteinn Palermo took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Slavcho Kanov. Slavcho Kanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Musko in the 61st minute of play. Alexis Roussounelos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Slavcho Kanov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. After 73 played minutes, Atlético Unión Florida's Saverio Atarratze shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Unión Florida reached it. In the 74th minute Narciso Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavcho Kanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Musko in the 76th minute of play. Daniel Skulstad hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krystian Żmuda in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Venancio Musko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Venancio Musko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After 94th play minutes Krystian Żmuda shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Slavcho Kanov and just under the crossbar into goal. Atlético Unión Florida were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Legia Stavanger for a fine match.
