An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘磊强 in the 16th minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Richard Lentini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 【粤】誰嶼爭鋒's Cihangir Öztekin quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mike Stivala, made in the 17th minute of the game. Richard Lentini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 刘磊强's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Floriana Celtics's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 周梁云 was slow to take the kick. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 刘磊强 in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-0 when 杨瑜耀 sped through Floriana Celtics's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Richard Lentini. 【粤】誰嶼爭鋒 made a substitution. 康天升 replaced Cihangir Öztekin. 方云朋 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Thake in the 89th minute of play. In the 94thth minute of the game 杨瑜耀 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goal looked a bit too open when 杨瑜耀 came free, but Richard Lentini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 【粤】誰嶼爭鋒 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Floriana Celtics had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
