Emanuel Mogel took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dariusz Czciborek. Dariusz Czciborek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 9th minute, Ikonom Chushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Ikonom Chushev in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Mogel in the 13th minute of play forced Birmingham City F.C.'s goalkeeper Dariusz Czciborek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Luis Alberto Suárez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kire Irving was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ikonom Chushev, made in the 18th minute of the game. Dariusz Czciborek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Mogel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Mogel in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Czciborek saved Birmingham City F.C. from getting behind. After 24 minutes Birmingham City F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celestino Pes who took care of the corner kick. In the 24th minute, one of Quebrachitos FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quebrachitos FC. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Tzvetelin Kopoev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kire Irving. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kire Irving should have stopped the shot. Birmingham City F.C.'s Dariusz Czciborek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Pécsi in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Quebrachitos FC defense, Zhivko Kudev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kire Irving. The Quebrachitos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kire Irving should have stopped the shot. With his leg Kire Irving managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Birmingham City F.C.'s Zhivko Kudev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marcell Pécsi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dariusz Czciborek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Quebrachitos FC's Anacleto Sendoa got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

51 minutes into the match, Quebrachitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erland Boberg came free, but Kire Irving reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Quebrachitos FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tzvetelin Kopoev was slow to take the kick. During this time Birmingham City F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Birmingham City F.C.'s corner Tzvetelin Kopoev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kire Irving quite easily take care of the ball. Kire Irving made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Suárez in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Birmingham City F.C.'s Dariusz Czciborek got control of the ball when Marcell Pécsi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dariusz Czciborek made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Marcell Pécsi sent off a good shot on target. Quebrachitos FC's attentive Celestino Pes managed to snatch the ball when Ikonom Chushev made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Kire Irving took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erland Boberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kire Irving didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erland Boberg went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Quebrachitos FC's Armando Urtzi was substituted for Jeremias Librado. Marcell Pécsis short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Dariusz Czciborek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erland Boberg in the 75th minute of play forced Quebrachitos FC's goalkeeper Kire Irving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Erland Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kire Irving saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Quebrachitos FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Anacleto Sendoa hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Erland Boberg sped through Quebrachitos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kire Irving. Birmingham City F.C.'s Dariusz Czciborek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Birmingham City F.C. from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastas Nanev during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had been going on for 87 minutes, Quebrachitos FC's Celestino Pes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty.
