Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Radoman Karaičić was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Tito Chayo made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Radoman Karaičić sent off a good shot on target. Staniša Šorgić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Cordarell in the 10th minute of play. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Bjelić, made in the 11th minute of the game. Radoman Karaičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tito Chayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Draža Milentijević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Chayo having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cordarell came free, but Staniša Šorgić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nippur de Lagash 2 booed when Thornhill City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloš Đurković didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Nippur de Lagash 2's Hernan Lehen in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Staniša Šorgić guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Radoman Karaičić in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tito Chayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Stefan Bjelić in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro. Nippur de Lagash 2's Tito Chayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radoman Karaičić in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Casimiro Cordarell put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Staniša Šorgić. 44 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Cordarell came free, but Staniša Šorgić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thornhill City's Ninoslav Mijanović was substituted for Radoman Karaičić.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ninoslav Mijanović to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Nippur de Lagash 2 got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo De Mitri. Tito Chayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ninoslav Mijanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, Ninoslav Mijanović had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tito Chayo. Nippur de Lagash 2's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ninoslav Mijanović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 62 played minutes Thornhill City got a freekick which was hit by Sima Ignjatović. In the 65th minute of the match Gavino De Mitri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Staniša Šorgić skillfully saved the ball. Casimiro Cordarell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Staniša Šorgić when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Casimiro Cordarell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Staniša Šorgić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Casimiro Cordarell came free with the goalkeeper in the 69th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Staniša Šorgić could save by the left post. In the 72nd match minute, Thornhill City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Draža Milentijević to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Thornhill City's Draža Milentijević got a free kick in the 74th minute. Ninoslav Mijanović scored 2-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tito Chayo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th match minute, Nippur de Lagash 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Emenon to maneuver through the defense. Ninoslav Mijanović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tito Chayo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin De Mitri was substituted for Casimiro Cordarell. Benjamin De Mitri might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Staniša Šorgić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin De Mitri ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Thornhill City's goalkeeper Staniša Šorgić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin De Mitri. Reynaldo De Mitri hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Benjamin De Mitri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Staniša Šorgić was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Nippur de Lagash 2's Benjamin Navarro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Bjelić, made in the 96th minute of the game. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nippur de Lagash 2 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Thornhill City.
