After 9 played minutes Hillhead FC got a freekick which was hit by Shukrie Sim. 史夕振 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alex Teo came out and tried to block the shot, but 史夕振 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 14th minute. Sean Lee kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. When 史夕振 came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the 山东东营魔鬼 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 史夕振 couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Hillhead FC's Danish Kool got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 肖烨康 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Teo having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, 山东东营魔鬼 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曾源乐 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hillhead FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bakar Pieng hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hillhead FC's Alex Teo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 肖烨康 made a kick off. If 肖烨康 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shukrie Sim hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Alex Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史夕振, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 韩兴适 scored 2-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Teo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Hillhead FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Shukrie Sim hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the game, Bakar Pieng recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 张辰亦. Bakar Pieng showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 71 played minutes 山东东营魔鬼 got a freekick which was hit by 韩兴适. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Anil Hui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hillhead FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anil Hui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 张辰亦 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 张辰亦 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakar Pieng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hillhead FC's Anil Hui got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Butcher kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, 史夕振 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 山东东营魔鬼's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hillhead FC the free kick. In the 86th minute, 史夕振 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bakar Pieng struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. 张辰亦 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillhead FC. The crowd rose to their feet as Hillhead FC's Danish Kool slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 张辰亦. That made the score 2-2 after 94 minutes of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
