If Åke Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Åke Pil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Godo Gøl made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Åke Pil took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Godo Gøl to make any attempt to save it. If Åke Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Godo Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Åke Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Radowit Kalak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szymon Wawak hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Wietrzychowski in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Lugano's Vico Sticher got a free kick in the 41st minute. With a little luck, FC Lugano's Godo Gøl got control of the ball when Åke Pil tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Qiao Jian to strike the kick off in the second half. Åke Pil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godo Gøl having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Åke Pil notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of FC Lugano's Godo Gøl. Godo Gøl was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Åke Pil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Godo Gøl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Åke Pil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åke Pil's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godo Gøl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. A collision led to ★C.I.A.sna★16 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Åke Pil hit a great ball. ★C.I.A.sna★16 made a substitution. Wladyslaw Debkowski replaced Radowit Kalak. FC Lugano's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
