Markus Asplund came out of the goal and Diego Armando Maradona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Armando Maradona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Asplund having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Injuries's Constantin Corfitzen got a free kick in the 9th minute. Diego Armando Maradona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Asplund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After 11 minutes Injuries's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Huidu who took care of the corner kick. The audience was convinced that Diego Armando Maradona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Markus Asplund was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Ingvar Hellkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Amskov in the 26th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Pepe Pepe threw the ball into play from the sideline. C Ａ R D I N Ａ L's Patricio Isias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 32 minutes into the match, Injuries's goalkeeper Markus Asplund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Armando Maradona. After 33 minutes Injuries's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emanuel Huidu who took care of the corner kick. Ingvar Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otong Gedde in the 35th minute of play. Ingvar Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantin Corfitzen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Diego Armando Maradona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Markus Asplund. The goal made the score 1-0. Ingvar Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Drebit, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emil Amskov was the one to do the kick off. Markus Asplund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Armando Maradona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C Ａ R D I N Ａ L booed when Injuries was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otong Gedde didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Diego Armando Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinhardt Stenseth got free with Ingvar Hellkvist in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Reinhardt Stenseth's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ingvar Hellkvist was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Edmund Przybyciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Asplund having to interfere. Rikardt Bredning kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Elvio Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Constantin Corfitzen might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingvar Hellkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Constantin Corfitzen ran back to his position shaking his head. Ingvar Hellkvist was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Wojciech Drebit capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wojciech Drebit really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Injuries were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
