Pattharawut Sirikeartkumjorn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Saverio Ribeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godo Gøl skillfully saved the ball. Heavenly Hooters's supporters rose to their feet, but Bukay Saka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godo Gøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lugano's zone, Saverio Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godo Gøl came out of the goal and Saverio Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bill Peterson came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Qiao Jian. But to his dismay, Qiao Jian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience was convinced that Nathongchai Borwongovitsakul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bill Peterson was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Bill Peterson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vico Sticher in the 69th minute. In the 72nd match minute, Heavenly Hooters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bukay Saka to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Heavenly Hooters's Bukay Saka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
