It was Conrado Mogel who took care of the corner kick. Leon Quin was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 7 played minutes Kanalla F.C got a freekick which was hit by Leon Quin. Delmar Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 10th minute of the match. Delmar Ignado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Guerreiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delmar Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Armando Guerreiro made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Ignado. Kanalla F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Leon Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manoel Peixoto having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Kanalla F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Efraim came free, but Delmar Ignado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kanalla F.C's Onur Ali Okay got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 38th minute Marcus Rashford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcus Rashford came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Kanalla F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Rashford couldn't finish the play. In the 43rd minute, Marcus Rashford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manoel Peixoto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Guerreiro in the 45th minute of play forced Kanalla F.C's goalkeeper Delmar Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Sport Club Mavericks made a substitution. Amadeu Senna replaced Luo Chuan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Honorio Efraim made a kick off. Marcus Rashford struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Manoel Peixoto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kanalla F.C. In the 62ndth minute of the game Marcus Rashford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sport Club Mavericks's Manoel Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zygmunt Kaznocha charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Kaznocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute, Zygmunt Kaznocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Ercüment Tanju replaced Marcus Rashford. After 66 played minutes Kanalla F.C got a freekick which was hit by Zygmunt Kaznocha. Kanalla F.C's Chris-George Di Crescenzo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amadeu Senna in the 71 minute of the game. The throw-in from Onur Ali Okay in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sport Club Mavericks's Amadeu Senna. In the 78th minute Armando Guerreiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 80th minute of play. Manoel Peixoto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercüment Tanju, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Armando Guerreiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmar Ignado. Kanalla F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Guerreiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 89th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. A collision led to Sport Club Mavericks getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Amadeu Senna hit a great ball. Ercüment Tanju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manoel Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
