Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorio Efraim took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute Wágner Fox shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Luo Chuan. Zachary Figlewski, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Armando Guerreiro scored 1-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alperen Bozkurt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manoel Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golaki Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alperen Bozkurt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Guerreiro in the 20th minute. Wágner Fox might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manoel Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Fox ran back to his position shaking his head. 28 minutes into the match, Sport Club Mavericks's Armando Guerreiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alperen Bozkurt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Enzo Bertolini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alperen Bozkurt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Efraim in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Jataiense Futebol Clube were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alexander Milošević could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Manoel Peixoto made a huge save. Sport Club Mavericks's Luís Gustavo Coelho was substituted for Serginho Quirino. Alperen Bozkurt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Guerreiro in the 64th minute of the match. João Paulo de Sena hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 73 played minutes Sport Club Mavericks got a freekick which was hit by Sven Herling. The long shot by Xabel Vilafranca in the 77th minute really tested Manoel Peixoto's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 80th minute, Honorio Efraim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Nilmar Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manoel Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diguinho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sport Club Mavericks players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
