In the 6th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benny Svensk to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Jan-Åke Hallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bennis's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Hallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Vase made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Rashford in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Rashford in the 22nd minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Rashford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bennis's Marcus Vase proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Bennis from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Kanalla F.C booed when Bennis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Hallgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cain Velasquez in the 34th minute of the match. When Marcus Rashford came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Kanalla F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Rashford couldn't finish the play. Jan-Åke Hallgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Ignado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Hallgren ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan-Åke Hallgren to strike the kick off in the second half. Cain Velasquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Delmar Ignado made a huge save. If Leon Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Rashford in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Cain Velasquez could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Delmar Ignado however easily saved by the left post. Florian Siembab hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Kanalla F.C made a substitution. Ercüment Tanju replaced Marcus Rashford. Florian Siembab kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 62 played minutes Bennis got a freekick which was hit by Per Lundkvist. In the 63rd minute Conrado Mogel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cain Velasquez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmar Ignado came out and tried to block the shot, but Cain Velasquez slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 66th minute. The audience was convinced that Ercüment Tanju's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Vase was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 71st minute Cain Velasquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes Kanalla F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Ekrot who took care of the corner kick. Delmar Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cain Velasquez's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute Ercüment Tanju shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ercüment Tanju took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Vase. Marcus Vase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kanalla F.C's Ercüment Tanju got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Quin in the 96th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
