With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adrian Txindoki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tenho Bolas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jan-Åke Hallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bennis's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Åke Hallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Txindoki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Barea came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes of play, Viseu United's Israel Barea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 29th minute of the match Bennis got a corner. Viseu United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Valdemar Alin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Axel Wassenius heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Marcus Vase took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Barea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Karl-Johan Hammarström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Fábio Prata in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Florian Siembab. 42 minutes into the match, Israel Barea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Vase. Bennis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Israel Barea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute, Tenho Bolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jan-Åke Hallgren was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the game Fábio Prata made a throw-in which Ahmet Ali Tayfur played forward. Israel Barea struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Marcus Vase didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viseu United. Marcus Vase made an important save on a dangerous shot by Israel Barea in the 56th minute. A collision led to Bennis getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Benny Svensk hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bennis's zone, Israel Barea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Vase came out of the goal and Israel Barea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Velasquez in the 59th minute of play forced Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Bennis got a freekick which was hit by Florian Siembab. Viseu United's Lei Shu Gang was substituted for Israel Barea. Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Johan Hammarström in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Bennis's Jan-Åke Hallgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Txindoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 77th match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florian Siembab to maneuver through the defense. Bennis's Eskil Kvick was substituted for Jan-Åke Hallgren. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Viseu United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
