Slavcho Kanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinícius Junior in the 6th minute of play. ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Dário Veríssimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Legia Stavanger got a freekick which was hit by Orest Bredun. 18 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Memphis Depay came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Vinícius Junior made a precise shot to the right of Slavcho Kanov. Legia Stavanger's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dário Veríssimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gjermund Viste in the 24th minute of the match. Gjermund Viste scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Veríssimo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Junior in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Junior in the 32nd minute of play forced Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd match minute, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Junior to maneuver through the defense. Dário Veríssimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Bazan came free, but Slavcho Kanov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Jedrzej Bazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Slavcho Kanov was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinícius Junior got free with Slavcho Kanov in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Slavcho Kanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinícius Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Vinícius Junior took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Slavcho Kanov to make any attempt to save it. In the 57th minute, Vinícius Junior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Legia Stavanger's Slavcho Kanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Legia Stavanger from getting a goal against them. Javier Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Slavcho Kanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bóas Bolas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Slavcho Kanov made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Vinícius Junior took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Slavcho Kanov to make any attempt to save it. Slavcho Kanov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jedrzej Bazan in the 75th minute. When Frederico Salazar came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frederico Salazar couldn't finish the play. Slavcho Kanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Junior in the 80th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Legia Stavanger's goalkeeper Slavcho Kanov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jedrzej Bazan. In the 88th minute, ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC's Vinícius Junior ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Slavcho Kanov. Slavcho Kanov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. When the final whistle sounded ALF⚽RNEL⚽S FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legia Stavanger.
