In the 17thth minute of the game Cristo Rey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Danilo Illart hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Abelardo Janpier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Rey's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Gerardo Etxepare got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Todd Gronow hit a great ball. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Rey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И defense, Todd Gronow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tony Uchiha. The R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tony Uchiha should have stopped the shot. R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И's Barni Irigoyen was substituted for Cristo Rey. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barni Irigoyen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the R̶Ī̶И̶И̶Є̶Ǥ̶Â̶И players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC.
