Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Leonard Treppa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tirant lo Blanch fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonard Treppa, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30thth minute of the game Leonard Treppa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zuberbühler FC's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tirant lo Blanch's Leonard Treppa in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Marciano Min made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Abelardo Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zuberbühler FC's Iwan Sebzda was substituted for Marciano Min. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Lamberto was substituted for Mariano Berart. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Abelardo Nardo got a free kick in the 60th minute. Iwan Sebzda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kamal Pahlevi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Dabi Barba hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Tirant lo Blanch's Jefferson Pinheiro was substituted for García Diez. Zuberbühler FC's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them. In the 81st minute of the match Tirant lo Blanch got a corner. Zuberbühler FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pitin Vallejo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Carmen Paniagua's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Carmen Paniaguas short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Tirant lo Blanch booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Calisto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo España fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri having to interfere. Tirant lo Blanch were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Zuberbühler FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pitin Vallejo took the corner. Tirant lo Blanch's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
