Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Filipe Viveiros hit a great ball. Hermenegildo Rebelo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Máximo Correia. Portugal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máximo Laureano in the 13th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Máximo Correia saved Portugal from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Bacalbașa came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Wojciech Grunwalski came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Hermenegildo Rebelo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Máximo Correia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Yuri Vargas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Artur Brudzisz made a huge save. Tomé Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Bacalbașa came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, one of Bacardi Black Bats:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Artur Brudzisz, was totally fooled by Portugal's Amadeu Bessa, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bacardi Black Bats's Germano Rosado was substituted for Quentin Platt. Máximo Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horaţiu Bacalbașa's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 74thth minute of the game Horaţiu Bacalbașa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Máximo Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Bacalbașa got free with Máximo Correia in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's Horaţiu Bacalbașa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Máximo Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Máximo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 83rd minute of the match. Reginaldo Silveira took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artur Brudzisz. Artur Brudzisz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.
