After some careless play in the FrenaHayBache defense, Elia Pietrantoni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damián Martínez. The FrenaHayBache fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damián Martínez should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute Elia Pietrantoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damiano Battisti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maarten Van Achteren, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Irinel Borăscu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Damiano Battisti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Csongor Tímár in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Csongor Tímár came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eurospeed Asti's Fausto Pinti got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti got control of the ball when Alex Sobczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elia Pietrantoni was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irinel Borăscu in the 51st minute of play forced FrenaHayBache's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Sobczyk came free, but Damiano Battisti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Sobczyk in the 54th minute of play. Fausto Pinti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Sobczyk in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damiano Battisti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Sobczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alex Sobczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damiano Battisti having to interfere. Didi Bombarda's late challenge caught a FrenaHayBache's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Didi Bombarda helped the player get up and apologised. Didi Bombarda kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Maarten Van Achteren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elia Pietrantoni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Damián Martínez made a huge save. Damiano Battisti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Csongor Tímár in the 86th minute of play. In the 91stth minute of the game Alex Sobczyk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Eurospeed Asti's Damiano Battisti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute FrenaHayBache were awarded a corner. Lucio Otsando went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FrenaHayBache's Lucio Otsando to fire away a dangerous shot which Damiano Battisti despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
