When Boruc Cisek came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the The Fighting Mongooses FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boruc Cisek couldn't finish the play. Aleksey Antonov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leszek Matuch came out and tried to block the shot, but Aleksey Antonov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 9th minute. Dmitriy Sidorov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Pankiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With an all-out effort, FK Amur's Leszek Matuch threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aleksey Antonov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leszek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksey Antonov in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Zachary Literski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, FK Amur's Aleksey Antonov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leszek Matuch. Leszek Matuch yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Roman Ryabin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FK Amur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Ryabin couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Mentis made a kick off. Fabian Mentis's late challenge caught a FK Amur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Mentis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Fighting Mongooses FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Fabian Mentis hit a great ball. Leszek Matuch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Ryabin in the 55th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Przemyslaw Mielak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nil Dergachev hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Aleksey Antonov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Leszek Matuch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Nil Dergachev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leszek Matuch was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Dmitriy Sidorov acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Borys Olejniczak. Alfred Starogardzki charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Starogardzki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danila Akinfeev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Nil Dergachev hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 80 played minutes, The Fighting Mongooses FC's Maksymilian Hetman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dmitriy Sidorov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Fighting Mongooses FC reached it. Nil Dergachev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Cezary Marchewka made a precise shot to the right of Dmitriy Sidorov. FK Amur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Fabian Mentis got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fabian Mentis hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Roman Ryabin hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
