In the 24th match minute, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Şerbănescu to maneuver through the defense. The referee showed Damian Cârlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Vilo Futbol Club booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Cârlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistrat Şerbănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Adrian Bârsan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Cârlan made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atilano Godoy notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Vlad Covrig. With a little luck, Vilo Futbol Club's Claudio Cordara got control of the ball when Damian Cârlan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vlad Covrig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Montrel in the 68th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Montrel in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vlad Covrig saved PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca from getting behind. In the 72nd match minute, Vilo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Osorio to maneuver through the defense. Damian Cârlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 74th match minute, Vilo Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Guillen to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vilo Futbol Club's zone, Damian Cârlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claudio Cordara came out of the goal and Damian Cârlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Erubiel Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
