Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Didier Donnart started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Didier Donnart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd match minute, Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yves Landes to maneuver through the defense. When Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lyon's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ruben Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben Mendez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hassan Lecroq breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 8 minutes of play, Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hassan Lecroq was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Federico Anaya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hassan Lecroq was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Landes got free with Delmar Quintin in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Ongile came free, but Hassan Lecroq reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Federico Anaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Didier Donnart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Quintin having to interfere. Florent Liagre hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Hassan Lecroq took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Barrionuevo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Deportivo Mandiyu defense, Didier Donnart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmar Quintin. The Deportivo Mandiyu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmar Quintin should have stopped the shot. The Lyon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hassan Lecroq should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Federico Anaya notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Lyon's Hassan Lecroq. Hassan Lecroq was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th minute, Federico Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Lyon players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Mandiyu were winning 2-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Anaya to make the kick off. Hassan Lecroq was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Federico Anaya capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Federico Anaya really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5. In the 58th minute Federico Anaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hassan Lecroq saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Lyon's Hassan Lecroq got control of the ball when Silvano Ongile tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Lyon booed when Deportivo Mandiyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Jerardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Mandiyu made a substitution. Nunez Oso replaced Marcial Maju. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hassan Lecroq. That made the score 2-6 after 72 minutes of play. Federico Anaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hassan Lecroq having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Nunez Oso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Pierre Boulais hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Federico Anaya had several of the Lyon's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-7 score and a disappointed Hassan Lecroq as he didn't even see the shot coming. 83 minutes into the game, Silvano Ongile cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-8. Hassan Lecroq was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hassan Lecroq came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Mandiyu's Federico Anaya. But to his dismay, Federico Anaya quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-9. If Silvano Ongile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Mandiyu's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
