In the 12th match minute, Onsala Ass Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Stenberg to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Åke Biörkquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onsala Ass Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zorros del Desierto the free kick. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Åke Biörkquist hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Nino Maravilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Hägglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 19th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Onsala Ass Kickers's Leonel Santana threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edwin Sjöberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 28 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Kåre Bruhn. The audience was convinced that Nino Maravilha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Hägglund was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Leonel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 minutes, Ezequiel Carillanca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zorros del Desierto and the Onsala Ass Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Zorros del Desierto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Carillanca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Uggstedt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Leonel Santana made a huge save. After 46 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Kilström. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kåre Bruhn made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Samo Rano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Thomas Hägglund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zorros del Desierto's Leonel Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 57th minute of play. Jan Björnberg's late challenge caught a Zorros del Desierto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Santana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Edwin Sjöberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Santana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Sjöberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 78th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Leonel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Edwin Sjöberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonel Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Zorros del Desierto's Jerry Maguire got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edwin Sjöberg in the 85th minute of the match. Leonel Santana came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Onsala Ass Kickers's Edwin Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Edwin Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Sjöberg in the 96th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Leonel Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
