When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Silviu Stoian sped through Jangkrik Boss's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sutan Kartasasmita. Octav Chițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Stoian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sutan Kartasasmita having to make a save. Sutan Kartasasmita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Stoian in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Rovine Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Potra to maneuver through the defense. Isnan Kotto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Popoacă having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Jangkrik Boss got a freekick which was hit by Amri Sutowo. Rovine Craiova's Mihnea Potra couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Jangkrik Boss. In the 44th minute Octav Chițu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sutan Kartasasmita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Jangkrik Boss getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Anton Tanzier hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jangkrik Boss's zone, Silviu Stoian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sutan Kartasasmita came out of the goal and Silviu Stoian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Anton Tanzier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavius Popoacă. Rovine Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Tanzier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half Rovine Craiova were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

58 minutes into the match, Rovine Craiova's goal looked a bit too open when Mahyadi Bahalwan came free, but Flavius Popoacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Jangkrik Boss. 66 minutes into the match, Jangkrik Boss's goalkeeper Sutan Kartasasmita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silviu Stoian. Amri Sutowo's late challenge caught a Rovine Craiova's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amri Sutowo helped the player get up and apologised. Silviu Stoians short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Sutan Kartasasmita to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 83 minutes, Anton Tanzier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jangkrik Boss's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anton Tanzier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sutan Kartasasmita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silviu Stoian in the 89th minute. When Roy Tohir fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
