Nicanor Demario's late challenge caught a La Fenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicanor Demario helped the player get up and apologised. Carmelo Cesario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute of the game Santiago Valery made a throw-in which Delmiro Berart played forward. Marciano Idacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Salvator in the 23rd minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Tostão Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Fenix's Eliseo Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavio Salvator kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The supporters of Pretorianos FC booed when La Fenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Cambiasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Tolino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Demario in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Tostão Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Fenix's Eliseo Tolino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Salvator in the 32nd minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 35th minute of the game was made by Paulino Peter with Carmelo Cesario as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 37 minutes into the match, Octavio Salvator notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio. Marciano Idacio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of La Fenix booed when Pretorianos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabino Valverde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pretorianos FC's Matias Txaran got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Eloy Truylos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sabino Valverde stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Tolino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Neron in the 54th minute of play. Pretorianos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicanor Demario in the 55th minute. Pretorianos FC's Nicanor Demario was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eliseo Tolino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Sabino Valverde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eliseo Tolino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabino Valverde in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eliseo Tolino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matias Txaran hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes Pretorianos FC got a freekick which was hit by Sabino Valverde. Pretorianos FC made a substitution. Adolfo Toribio replaced Matias Txaran. In the 67th match minute, Pretorianos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Valverde to maneuver through the defense. Sabino Valverde hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Eliseo Tolino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabino Valverde in the 73rd minute. La Fenix's Eliseo Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Lauren in the 75th minute of play. Eliseo Tolino was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Sabino Valverde capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabino Valverde really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. La Fenix's Patricio Hernandez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tommi Kankaanpää, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 85 minutes into the game, Pretorianos FC's Santos Lauren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseo Tolino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Eliseo Tolino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tostão Ceresso was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Carmelo Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner led to Pretorianos FC's Tostão Ceresso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.
